Care and Cleaning


Note:
NEVER USER THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS ON T.B. RUSSELL WINDSHIELDS:
  • Windex
  • 409
  • Comet
  • Soft Scub
  • Gasoline
  • Tar Remover
  • Grease Remover
  • or any other household cleaners or solvents

These products contain acid and will discolor/damage windshields.  Warranty will
be invalid if any of the fore mentioned products are used on the windshield.

Cleaning Process:

  1. Use a small amount of liquid soap mixed with water in a one-quart spray
    bottle.
  2. Lightly spray the windshield.  Allow the mixture to set on windshield to
    loosen grime.
  3. Pre-Wet a soft clean cloth.  
  4. Gently remove the soap mixture.  
  5. Allow windshield to air dry.
  6. Finish with clear water on a soft clean cloth.  

If you are traveling, soak a towel in water and lay on the windshield.  This will
soften the grime.  Use another wet towel and gently wipe the surface.  Allow to
air dry.

Scratches

Windshields will eventually scratch.  After cleaning use quality plastic polish on
the windshield.  This will greatly reduce the number of scratches.  The following
