Installation Instructions
- Remove Stock Windshield.
- Remove all hardware that secures the mounting brackets to the windshield. Note:
the 9 screws must be removed with a T-27 TORX screwdriver.
- Bend and peal Lexan away from hardware. This will prevent bending the
hardware.
- Save all hardware and brackets to use with the new windshield.
- Remove all old tape from brackets.
- Apply the new tape to brackets. Align holes in the tape with the holes in the
brackets.
- Install all brackets. Do not exceed recommended torque when installing mounting
screws. Damage to windshield could result. This step may require assistance
holding the hardware. This will prevent windshield scratches.
- Tighten all screws and acorn nuts. Tighten to 30 in-lbs. Use a small drop of blue
loctite in acorn nuts.
- Install windshield on motorcycle.
